Website research

I plan on making a B2C online fashion website that focuses on sustainable and affordable clothing. The website offers a range of clothing and accessory options, made from environmentally friendly materials and produced in fair labor conditions. Similar websites to this include PACT, and ASOS.

ASOS and Pact Clothing stores both focus on different aspects of the 4 P's of marketing.

ASOS primarily focuses on the Promotion aspect of the marketing mix. They heavily invest in advertising and social media marketing to create brand awareness and promote their products. They use influencers, celebrity endorsements, and social media campaigns to reach out to their target audience.

On the other hand, Pact Clothing store primarily focuses on the Product aspect of the marketing mix. They specialize in creating sustainable and ethically produced clothing. They use eco-friendly fabrics and production methods and ensure fair labor practices. Their product offering is designed to appeal to environmentally conscious customers who are looking for sustainable and ethical clothing options.

Overall, both companies focus on different aspects of the 4 P's of marketing, depending on their product offerings and target audience.

ERD definition

According to Li and Chen (2009), ERD is a diagram that shows how different things in a database relate to each other. These terms are related to ERD: Entities are the things being modeled, like customers or products.  Attributes are the characteristics of an entity, like its name or size.  Cardinalities show how many of one thing are related to another, like one-to-many or many-to-many.  Relationships show how entities are connected, and can be one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many. ERDs are helpful for designing and building a database that meets the needs of a business or organization. References:  Li, Q. and Chen, Y.L., 2009. Entity-relationship diagram. Databases, primary and foreign keys.

According to Oppel (2011), database is like a big digital file cabinet that stores information that can be easily accessed, managed, and updated. It helps organize data and makes it easier to find and use. Importand part of databases is establishing relationships between data, thats where primary and foreign keys come in: A primary key is a unique code for each record in a table, helping to identify and work with it easily. A foreign key is a code that links one table to another. It's usually a field in one table that matches the primary key in another table, ensuring that data is consistent between them. They ensure that information is consistent across different parts of the database, which is important for making sure everything works smoothly. For example, in a customer database, each customer might have a unique ID number, and that number would be used to connect all of the information about that customer together. Overall, databases and keys help people manage inf...

4 P's of marketing

The 4 Ps of marketing are the basic elements that businesses use to sell their products or services. They are Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. Product is what you're selling, Price is how much you're selling it for, Place is where you're selling it, and Promotion is how you're letting people know about it. By considering all of these elements, businesses can create an effective marketing strategy and sell their products or services successfully. For my sustainable fashion brand, the most relevant Ps of the marketing mix are promotion and price. It is crucial to use digital marketing tools to promote the sustainability aspect of the products and reach out to environmentally conscious consumers. Pricing can be higher than conventional fashion products, but it is essential to be competitive and transparent about the pricing strategy. By focusing on promotion and price, a sustainable fashion brand can establish itself as a unique and environmentally conscious opt...
